TB 5000 European Gas Turbines
TB-5000 Gas Turbine is one of the products of European Gas Turbines. TB 5000 turbine was designed for industrial duty, with the same ideology as earlier Gas Turbines being applied, such as reliability.
TB 5000 Gas Turbine is capable of running for long periods without a change of major components allied to on-site maintenance capability.
It consists of a simple-cycle unit that consists of a 12-stage subsonic axial-flow compressor, a two-stage air-cooled overhung compressor turbine, four combustion chambers, and a separate two-stage power turbine.
TB-5000 gas turbines have a completely new application control package module. The new application control package runs on an advanced PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) based system.
Replacing the older mechanical or hydraulic gas turbine fuel regulators with modern PLC systems helped improve the system’s actual performance and reliability.
