Alfa Laval S 835 Centrifugal Oil Separator
S 835 is an Alfa Laval Oil Separator that purifies marine oil through a process called centrifugation. It is a high-capacity disc stalk separation primarily for marine applications to purify fuel and lubricant oil.
In this process, the container rotates at a very high speed, due to which the heavy sludge particles are forced away to the outer side of the container. The lighter and pure oil remains at the centre. Both the sludge and the oil are taken out through separate outlets.
It utilises ALCAP seperator technology, which automatically adjusts to variations in oil density without requiring a gravity disk, thereby ensuring consistent performance across different oil grades with improved fuel efficiency.
