MAPX 204 Alfa Laval Purifier

MAPX 204 Alfa Laval lube oil purifier is a completely reconditioned purifier that makes use of its centrifugal force to separate fine solids & other impurities contained in the oil which normally cannot be filtered.

Gravity is responsible for separating oil and water in MAPX 204. If the gravitational force is increased by using centrifugal force the separation of oil and water and other impurities are much faster, thus it is also called as Alfa Laval centrifugal separator.

Uses/Applications:

• MAPX 204 Oil separator is mainly used on ships in the engine room to purify oil in huge quantities stored in ships.
• It purifies engine oil, diesel oil, lubricating oil by removing fine solids & other impurities.
• Mainly used to improve the quality of the oil and thus to reduce engine wear /emissions and possible breakdown.
• Also for industrial applications such as in milk dairy, beverages, oil industries, and power stations.
