Alfa Laval FOPX 605, 607, 609 & 610 Oil Water Separators

FOPX Alfa Laval Purifiers are self-cleaning disc separators. The design of these separators is tailored to handle remaining heavy fuel oils (HFO), marine diesel oils (MDO), distillates, and lubricating oils that often have water, catalytic fines, and abrasive solids. These may be used both for clarifying and separating fluids. 

The difference between the Self-cleaning disc separators & solid-wall disc separators is how the separated solids are discharged. The solids are removed intermittently through openings in the bowl walls, whereas in nozzle separators, the solids are cleared intermittently by pistons.

FOPX 605

It is designed to remove 1150 GPH water and solid sludge from fuel and lubricating oils, and it also features automatic interface control and timed solids discharge for reliable, low-maintenance purification of critical oils.

FOPX 607

It can purify approximately 6,000 litres of impure oil within an hour. The purification/separation of impure oil is completed with the help of centrifugal force.

FOPX 609

It can purify approximately 16,000 litres of impure oil in one hour. It can be operated at a temperature between 0 °C and 100 °C; the higher the temperature, the smoother the purification process.

FOPX 610

The maximum speed of the rotation bowl of FOPX 610 is 5148 RPM, which generates greater centrifugal force. This force is used to purify and clarify different kinds of waste and contaminated oils with maximum efficiency.
