Alfa Laval FOPX 605 Oil Separator removes water and solid sludge from various contaminated oils. It can be used to filter solid and liquid, as well as can be used for clarification or purification methods.

The FOPX 605 Alfa Laval Separator is a centrifugal separator used to separate hard particles and similar solid substances from liquids and mineral oil.

Separation can serve the following purposes:

• To remove a liquid containing solid particles

• To separate two mutually insoluble fluids, Different densities when removing solids present at the same time

• To separate and concentrate solid particles From a liquid

Separating Functions

The bowl is filled with unseparated oil through the Separating principle pipe. It is then pumped towards the periphery by the distributor. Oil will be evenly distributed once it reaches the slots of the distributor.
