Alfa Laval FOPX 614 Oil Purifier

Alfa Laval FOPX 614 fuel oil separators are widely used in the marine industry, for cleaning dust particles from the fuel oil. It’s used in marine engines and other power diesel engines.

Functions of FOPX 614

Continuous purification from solid particles and water of lubricating oils and low-viscosity fuel oils. Suitable for separation of marine diesel, biodiesel and lubricating oils.

It is suitable and designed to clarify or purify various mineral oils, engine oils, and lubricating oils for onboard marine and industrial purposes and purification or clarification of mineral oils is used in power stations and marine installations

Separation can serve three purposes:

• To free a liquid from solid particles
• To separate two mutually insoluble fluids with different densities while removing any remaining solids
• To separate and concentrate solid particles from the liquid.

Features:

1. Maximum density of 1010 Kg/m3
2. Maximum speed of it’s rotating bowl is 4140 rpm.

With such capacity and speed, FOPX 614 works with full efficiency to improve the quality of fuel oil so as to be used in marine engines.
