Alfa Laval MAB 204 Oil Separator
Alfa Laval MAB 204 oil separator is a solid bowl centrifuge. It purifies solid particles from oil and helps separate water and other impurities from the oil. You can use this device for two purposes: either for liquid-solid purification or as a liquid-solid clarifier.
It purifies lube oil, diesel oil, engine oil, turbine oil, hydraulic oil, biodiesel, and waste oil. The Alfa Laval MAB 204 oil purifier is also suitable for separating marine diesel, distillate, and hydraulic oils.
The MAB 204’s technology utilizes centrifugal force and advanced design to create efficient, reliable, and long-lasting oil treatment solutions.
A horizontal driveshaft, friction clutch, worm wheel gear, and vertical drive shaft operate the Alfa Laval MAB 204. This is all covered within the separator frame, The worm wheel gear is located in an oil bath to ensure stable running.
The operator fixes the bowl onto the vertical drive shaft at the top part of the frame. They join the frame hood to allow easy access for cleaning or maintenance.
In the marine, industrial, and power generation sectors, solid particles (like dirt, sludge, and wear debris) and water can contaminate oils, affecting their performance and damaging equipment.
