Alfa Laval MAPX 204 is a desludger disc centrifuge which uses three-phase separation (liq-liq-solid) to purify diesel, fuel oils, lubricating oils etc. MAPX 204 Alfa Laval Centrifuge uses centrifugal force to separate impurity from different types of oil. In order to purify oil, it removes the dust particles from oils to make suitable for engines.
Purifying oils also helps to reduce engine wear. To prevent engine breakdown its also important that the fuel oil which is supplied to the engine is moisture free and MAPX purifier does this efficiently. Through its liq-liq-solid separation technology, the separator not only separates the solid phase but also the liquid phase and make the oil moisture free.
