S870 is a high-speed disc-stack Alfa Laval Centrifugal Purifier designed for demanding marine and industrial oil-cleaning tasks.
The S870 is a specific model of the S Flex series of high-speed centrifugal separators. Its core principle is the use of powerful centrifugal force to separate immiscible liquids of different densities and solid particles from a single stream of contaminated oil.
It uses ALCAP™ technology, which automatically interfaces with the water transducer in the clean-oil line, continuously monitors water content, and adjusts the oil/water boundary without manual gravity-disc tuning.
It can discharge both light phases (clean oil) and heavy phases (water/sludge) under pressure, resulting in cleaner, more efficient separation.
This model is designed for heavy-duty applications in marine and industrial environments, where consistent and reliable oil purification is critical.
